HOW TO WRITE A LETTER OF INVITATION FOR A CANADIAN VISITOR VISA?

When you're applying for a visa to visit Canada, you might need to provide a letter of invitation from someone in Canada. Remember, a letter of invitation doesn't guarantee that a visa will be issued. Visa officers will evaluate your application based on Canada's immigration laws.

If you're writing the letter of invitation, keep in mind that you're not legally responsible for the visitor once they arrive in Canada. However, it's important to write the letter honestly and in good faith, and be prepared to fulfill any promises made in the letter.  Make sure to send the letter to the person you're inviting to Canada. They'll need to include it when applying for a visitor visa.

Include the following details about the person you're inviting:

·      Full name

·      Date of birth

·      Address and phone number

·      Relationship to you

·      Purpose of the visit

·      Planned duration of stay in Canada

·      Accommodation arrangements and financial support during the visit

·      Planned departure date from Canada

Provide your own details as well:

·      Full name

·      Date of birth

·      Address and phone number in Canada

·      Job title

·      Whether you hold a Citizenship or permanent residency status

·      Include a photocopy of a document proving your status in Canada, such as a birth certificate, citizenship card, PR card, or proof of landing document (IMM 1000)

·      If applicable, provide details of your family, including names and dates of birth of your spouse and dependents.

As your immigration consultant, I can assist you in drafting the letter of invitation accurately and ensuring that all necessary details are included.
