Citenzenship

To be eligible to become a Canadian citizen, you must:

  • be a permanent resident

  • have lived in Canada for three out of the last five years

  • have filed your taxes; if you need to

  • pass a citizenship test

  • prove your language skills

There are additional or different requirements depending on the uniqueness of your situation.

You don’t automatically become a citizen when you marry a Canadian. If you’re the spouse of a Canadian citizen, you must meet the exact requirements listed above (no exception).

We assist our citizenship applicants.

Our team is prepared to help a citizenship applicant in several ways, including but not limited to the following:

  • Assessing your eligibility to determine whether you meet the eligibility criteria for Canadian citizenship.

  • Preparing and submitting the citizenship application and ensuring that all the required documents and information are included.

  • Gathering and organizing the necessary documents, such as language test results, educational credentials, and work experience letters.

  • Representing the applicant during the citizenship application process, communicating with the relevant authorities, and providing updates on the application status.

  • Preparing the client for the citizenship interview, including providing guidance on what to expect during the interview and practicing interview questions.

Overall, our team can help streamline the citizenship application process and increase the chances of success for an applicant.
